Hi, I'm Sofi — the face behind the camera if you book me as your Calgary wedding photographer. I moved to Calgary in 2022 and fell in love with this city, and with the mountains that are basically in our backyard.
Before wedding photography, I trained in fine art and fashion photography, which is where I learned how to actually use light instead of just pointing a camera at it. That background shapes every wedding I shoot today — I'm always watching for the light, not just the moment.
My approach to your wedding day
Now I photograph weddings and families across Calgary and the Rockies. My approach is simple: I show up, I stay quiet when I need to, and I capture what's actually happening instead of directing every single frame. Some of my favorite photos from Calgary weddings aren't even the ones I planned to take.
As a photographer based in Calgary, I bring a documentary eye and a genuine love for real, unscripted moments to every wedding — whether it's a full celebration downtown or an intimate elopement in Banff or Canmore.
